It’s no secret that cannabis lovers can eat. We’ve seen media and gifs highlight the appetite-stimulating side-effects of weed for decades… which is why we’ve decided to share a roundup of San Francisco brunch spots that are simply to live for.
Whether you’re a bougie stoner or traditional foodie, elevate your Mother’s Day weekend and read on for a few of our favorite spots in San Francisco for when you have the “brunchies”.
Jane the Bakery
@eatatjane
1881 Geary Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94115
A San Franciscan foodie twist on a classic bakery, Jane The Bakery is a Lower Fillmore brunch staple that has something perfect for every palate. Virtually everything is made in-house, including their fresh bread, luscious savory & sweet pastries, handmade salads, sandwiches, drinks, and more. You can taste the love, enthusiasm, and quality ingredients that go into every item! Though seating is a bit limited, head across the street to the lovely park or stroll Japantown nearby where you can enjoy your delicious treats and do some shopping.
Can’t miss: Pain au Chocolat
Arsicault Bakery
@arsicaultbakery
397 Arguello Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94118
Dubbed by many as having “the best croissant in San Francisco”, Arsicault Bakery lives up to its reputation. They tend to stick to the basics, but they do it very, VERY well, making this spot ideal for pastry purists. This shop is perfect to grab a bite and walk the Clement St Farmers Market around the corner on Sundays. You might want to come early as possible for this one – they sell out fast and the lines are long!
Can’t miss: Croissants
The Mill
@themillsf
736 Divisadero St, San Francisco, CA 94117
Though you can’t tell from the outside, The Mill is actually a collaboration between Josey Baker Bread and Four Barrel Coffee, both of which deeply value quality ingredients. Either way, this place is an absolute vibe with a delicious menu to boot! The coffee is roasted locally and the bread is both milled AND baked in-house, so you can rest assured that you’re getting the best quality possible. This is a great spot to catch up with Mom and people-watch before your next stop. We suggest grabbing your items to go and walk over to Alamo Square Park to show mom the painted ladies!
Can’t miss: ANY of their toast selections
Tartine Manufactory
@tartinemanufactory
595 Alabama St, San Francisco, CA 94110
Located in the famous Mission District, Tartine Manufactory is the fancy sister to the classic Tartine on Guerrero and is a marvelous modern spot for brunch. The ambiance is airy and inviting, underlining their mouthwatering fares. For Mother’s Day, they’re offering their Blueberry Rhubarb Pie and Strawberry Mousseline Cake for pre-order, so we suggest getting yours ASAP!
Head to the Health news stand next door after eating for beautiful locally made ceramics, hard to find magazines and candies.
Can’t miss: Breakfast Sandwich with Smoked Salmon
Plow
@plowsf
1299 18th St, San Francisco, CA 94107
Mom only deserves the best, right? Be sure to stop by Plow, recently named one of the 20 best brunch restaurants in the country! While the ambiance is always warm and friendly, the real star of the show is their amazing food. Locally sourced and made with care, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Just make sure you try their potatoes – they’re amazing!
Can’t miss: Eggs Benedict
