WELLNESS GUIDE (Budtender)

As a Wellness Guide, you are providing all customers with an elevated cannabis experience by greeting them with exceptional customer service and presenting them with products tailored to best fit their wants and needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a positive, friendly experience by engaging the Customer through conversation and service
  • Contribute to the overall atmosphere by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
  • Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards; ensure that merchandise is ticketed, and the sales floor is stocked
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
  • Exhibit a familiarity with current products and trend awareness

General Requirements:

  • Muse be 21 years of age or older
  • Able to pass background check and valid Driver’s License
  • Must be fully vaccinated for this role
  • Flexible availability required 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in job knowledge (i.e. register controls, selling guidelines, etc.)

Education & Experience:

  • High school education or GED equivalent required, (AA or Bachelor’s Degree a plus)
  • Previous retail or customer service experience required
  • Previous experience working in a dispensary preferred but not required

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Have a passion for and interest in cannabis
  • Possess effective and positive communication skills in both written and verbal forms

ASSISTANT RETAIL MANAGER

The Assistant Retail Manager is responsible for motivating and developing the store team, driving sales and profitability, assisting on marketing campaigns and local partnerships, setting and assisting in executing customer service standards, product management, and cash management. In addition the Assistant Store Manager acts as a representative of the company with enthusiasm, positivity and complies with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assistance developing and training of staff 
  • Drive sales by ensuring guests receive high quality service
  • Upholding the brand standards and operating all aspects of the dispensary under the direction of the General Manager
  • Oversee dispensary team 
  • Handle all returns, exchanges and employee purchases 
  • Ensure all opening and closing duties are completed and the venue is completely secured before departing at night or opening in the morning 
  • Report all relevant operational information to General Manager 
  • Handle customer issues and concerns
  • POS updates and maintenance in conjunction with inventory personnel 
  • Collaborate with human resources to ensure compliance with all pertinent employee rules and regulations 
  • Execute marketing efforts as directed by the marketing team 
  • Execute quarterly all staff meetings and scheduled cleanings 
  • Assist with quarterly shift lead reviews, 90-day reviews for new employees as well as annual reviews for all line level staff 
  • Manage floor to ensure staff is on task at all times

General Requirements:

  • Muse be 21 years of age or older
  • Able to pass background check and valid Driver’s License
  • Must be fully vaccinated for this role

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or one or more years of management experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of management experience in high volume establishments with extensive knowledge in the cannabis industry 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to input and access information in the POS system, delivery systems, marketing outlets, computers, etc. 
  • Must be comfortable learning new skills 
  • Must have a hands-on, proactive management style 
  • Perform all job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy

INVENTORY MANAGER

As Inventory Manager you work closely with the General Manager and support team to purchase and manage all aspects of inventory including quality control and MERTC compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing of all products/inventory 
  • Manage the inventory team
  • Intake of all inventory and properly documenting into METRC software 
  • Maintaining all inventory par levels
  • Flag inventory discrepancies of under/over amounts and/or QC discrepancies and resolve
  • Accurately completes documentation & enters data to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of procedures to prevent errors
  • Utilize company information systems at advanced/expert levels – perform reporting, data analysis, making process and operating decisions using data

General Requirements:

  • Muse be 21 years of age or older
  • Able to pass background check and valid Driver’s License
  • Must be fully vaccinated for this role

Education & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of related work experience preferred
  • Inventory and MERTC software experience a plus
  • College degree preferred but not required

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Graphic Designer is responsible for managing and executing all the creative needs of Mary Modern.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Social media strategy and content creation
  • Designing a variety of consumer-facing print material for multiple storefronts
    (posters, menus, table inserts, etc.)
  • Planning and creating advertising campaigns (both digital and print)
  • Writing and laying out email newsletters with Mailchimp
  • Assisting the team with interior and exterior design decisions for new storefronts (designing signage, creating mockups, etc.)
  • Updating multiple company websites in WordPress (with Beaver Builder)
  • Designing and sourcing promotional swag
  • Creation of internal documents (employee badges, brand guides, ad reports, etc.)
  • Assisting with product/lifestyle photography and editing photos for production
  • Designing informational presentations and decks
  • Packaging design for white label products
  • Executing custom illustrations and infographics

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient using the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Powerpoint or Keynote is a plus
  • Should have a basic understanding of web design using wordpress
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects at once to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently as the sole designer
  • Possess good communication skills 
  • Must be flexible and adaptable for a wide variety of projects
